  • Responsible for developing the messaging at Chester Barrie; ensuring the brand maintained a modern, relevant image. Worked with Simon Carter to develop his brand and to bring it to life.
  • Setting and implementing successful marketing strategies

  • Experience as a member of the senior management team that set strategy for the Prominent Europe Brands business. Built the marketing budget to support those aims, created a monthly calendar and critical path, helping to grow sales by over 80% in five years.
  • Managing disparate teams of internal and external staff

  • Experience recruiting and managing staff and agencies — including PR (both in the UK and overseas), social media, advertising, graphics and web development to support Chester Barrie, Simon Carter and Richard James Mayfair.
  • Building and supporting retail businesses

  • Supported the opening of five outlet stores, more than 40 concessions and the Chester Barrie flagship store on London's Savile Row.
  • Supporting overseas growth

  • Responsible for developing international marketing support programmes, notably for China and Korea, as well as Chester Barrie’s Italian concession business.
  • Delivering growth through sales and strategic partnerships

  • Opened accounts for Chester Barrie with Harvey Nichols, House of Fraser and Coin; brought Green Baby into John Lewis and House of Fraser as a well as a number of independent stores.
  • Managing sponsorships

  • Responsible for negotiating and overseeing the sponsorship of: Leicester Tigers, The Olivier Awards, Golf Croquet World Championship and Chateau Impney Hill Climb.
  • Producing high quality photoshoots & video

  • Organised eight shoots a year plus various videos; also managed all e-commerce photography.
  • Planning and delivering successful events

  • Produced seven on-schedule presentations at London Fashion Week Men (LCM); responsible for running a number of in-store events; developed IAF Convention programmes and meetings
  • Commissioning, editing and writing

  • Former magazine editor with a network of writers and journalists; creating brand books, lookbooks, brochures and newsletters for the fashion industry.
  • Organising trade show participation

  • Arranged participation at various exhibitions including Pitti Uomo, MRket and Bubble.

  • Reponsible for the Chester Barrie website and doubled sales; was responsible for all brands on partner websites including House of Fraser, John Lewis, Harvey Nichols and The Rake; managed the creation of the Prominent Europe website.
